Viva Shallow could be translated as a shallow place full of life, which would be quite fitting - though the name comes from the fact this site is located in front of the beach of the Wyndham Dominicus Beach Hotel Viva. You will see plenty of fish and plants here. But also parts of the Museos Vivos del Mar, with remains (like a canon and canon balls) of the Galleon Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe which sank here in a storm in the year 1724.
