Lots of sealife at this site, including Scorpion fishes, arrow crabs, Lizardfishes, some Octopusses, Blennies, wrasses... Also find a little shrine with a statue of Maria at a depth of about 12m.
This seems to be one of the most famous diving places on Gran Canaria: My first
dives at this island (starting from a dive club in Las Palmas DC, which can be
considered "nearby") took place here - as well did the last (starting from a
dive club in Arguineguin, which is at the opposite end of the island).
Directly at the spot, you'll find a small restaurant - but don't have too much
hope for a lunch here: it is either closed, or doesn't like guests which are
dressed as divers :stupid: - which means, you have to change dresses first.
Not always an option, so be prepared...
Btw: More photos from this place can be found here.
