During the days I try to kill time working as a school administrator at an upper secondary school in the city of Gjøvik just south of the Olympic city of Lillehammer (1994...). When office work gets too boring, I teach a bit. My subjects are English and German, and I just LOVE teaching German grammar :-)! When there is no work, there is fun! Which in my case is mostly Scouting. I am a Scout leader and have been an active Scout for over 30 years. Presently I am Assistant Scout Master (for boys and girls) and a Group Leader, but I have worked with all age groups in Scouting. I also help training new Scout leaders. If there is some time left, I play around with Judo, try to get some time for diving (normally in the Oslofjord which is a couple of hours away) or walk my dog before it is too late. Only as a last resort do I clean my house or do anything useful. For diving I have been to the Mediterranean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean as well as fjords, lakes and at least one river. I have been under water in Norway, Spain and the US, at water temperatures from 3 to 27 C. Mostly I dive with a dry suit and a 300 bar 15 l steel tank and sometimes a pony bottle (I am a coward and really like to carry more than enough air!). I love the peace and tranquility I find when diving, forgetting all about worries and work on land!
